PORK CHOP AND RICE BAKE 
6 (3 oz.) pork chops
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. uncooked rice
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
3 c. hot water
1/4 c. chopped green onions

Brown pork chops in butter in skillet. Layer uncooked rice, dry soup mix and mushrooms in 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour hot water over rice. Arrange pork chops on top. Sprinkle with green onions. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes longer.
