PORK CHOP AND RICE BAKE 
4 c. water
2 c. rice
6 pork chops
1/2 stick butter
Vegetable oil
Salt
Pepper
Chopped onions or onion powder

Cover bottom of large skillet or frying pan with oil. Salt and pepper pork chops and brown over medium heat.

Add rice to boiling salted water, cook for 8-10 minutes. Pour rice and water into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, season with salt and pepper. Add fresh chopped onions (or onion powder) and pork chop drippings into baking dish - stir.

Cut butter into thin slices and place evenly over rice. Put pork chops on top of rice mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Serve with your favorite vegetable and beverage.
