BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 (6 oz.) roll garlic cheese, spread
1 stick butter
1 tsp. parsley
1/4 c. slivered almonds
2 c. herb seasoned stuffing mix or crushed croutons
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute onion in 1/2 stick butter until tender. Cook broccoli as directed on package until almost done. Drain. Chop cheese into small cubes. Mix together broccoli, onion, soup, mushrooms (drained), cheese, parsley and almonds. Salt and pepper to taste.

Butter sides and bottom of 2 quart casserole. Pour broccoli mixture into casserole. Pour broccoli mixture into casserole. Melt remaining 1/2 stick butter. Mix with stuffing or crushed croutons and spread on top. Brown in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
