HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
1 lb. stew meat 1 onion, minced 1 1/2 tsp. paprika 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 3/4 tsp. vinegar 1/2 c. ketchup 2 c. water 3 tbsp. flour 1 (6 oz.) pkg. noodles Brown meat in a little oil. Add onion. Combine dry ingredients. Mix Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and vinegar. Add to dry ingredients. Blend with meat and onion. Add 1 cup of water. Stir. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours or until meat is tender. Blend flour with other cup of water and add to meat mixture. Stir until thickened. Serve over cooked noodles. |
