SWEET AND SOUR GARLIC CABBAGE
AND ONIONS
 
You can serve this with meatloaf, ribs, chicken, pork chops... Really anything! It's amazing and healthy :)

1 medium head of cabbage
1 small yellow onion
3 cloves garlic (or to taste)
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup grape-seed oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning (to taste)
salt and pepper, to taste
4 tsp. sugar (or 2 packs Sweet 'n Low or Splenda equivalent)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Rough chop a medium head of cabbage and a yellow onion. Smash cloves of garlic and dice finely.

Layer cabbage, onions, oil and vinegar in a casserole dish. Toss in the seasoning, salt, pepper and sugar (or sugar substitute). Mix up with your hands. Sprinkle diced garlic over the mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until slightly tender. I like a little crunch to mine.
