1 deluxe yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Reserve 2/3 cup of cake mix. Mix remaining cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Spread in a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix reserve cake mix and all additional ingredients. Pour over baked cake and bake an additional 30 minutes.
