CHOCOLATE DIPPED PEANUT BUTTER
COOKIES
 
Your favorite recipe for peanut butter cookies
6 (1 oz.) squares of semi sweet chocolate
1 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. light corn syrup

Make cookies according to recipe directions. Let cool. Melt chocolate and shortening on top of double boiler. Stir in corn syrup. Mix until smooth. Dip each cookie halfway into the chocolate mixture. Place in single layer on a cookie sheet. Freeze until chocolate hardens. Place in airtight container. Store in the freezer until ready to use.
