YANKEE COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter or substitute
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar/cinnamon
16 oz. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix until blended well. Pour half of batter in greased tube pan. Sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon, nuts and 8 oz. chocolate chips. Add remaining batter and repeat topping. Swirl toppings in with knife. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from pan when cool.
