HAMBURGER AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
1 green pepper
1 c. mushrooms
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken rice soup OR cream of chicken soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
3 c. cooked rice OR
1 c. uncooked rice and 1 c. water
3 to 5 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (1 lb.) can chop suey vegetables, drained

Brown beef. Add onions, celery, pepper and mushrooms. Pour over the undiluted soups and add rice. Stir in soy sauce. Fold in drained chop suey vegetables. Pour into greased 2 1/2 to 3 quart casserole. Top with chow mein noodles or toasted slivered almonds. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes for cooked rice, 1 and 1/2 hours for uncooked rice. May also be made in microwave oven.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
