CORNHUSKER HOTEL AMARETTO
BROWNIES
 
4 oz. cocoa
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
10 tbsp. butter
8 eggs
4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sliced almonds
1/2 c. Amaretto
1 or 2 drops almond extract

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt butter. Melt chocolate into butter. Add cocoa and set aside. Beat together eggs and sugar. Add salt, flour, Amaretto and almond extract. Add to chocolate mixture. Fold in almonds. Pour into greased and lightly floured 9"x13" pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
