PLUM PUDDING 
4 c. bread crumbs, dry
1 c. suet (ground)
1 1/2 c. raisins (cut up)
1 c. walnuts (cut up)
1 c. molasses
1 c. milk (can use part brandy)
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix spices and soda, sugar and salt thoroughly. Combine with all drys, which have been mixed thoroughly. Now in another dish mix wets; milk, molasses and well beaten eggs thoroughly. Now mix all together.

Grease molds. Only fill molds 3/4 full as it will rise. Have covers on tight. Steam 3 hours. Cool until very cold. Cut bottom of mold, then remove.
