PEACH, PLUM OR APPLE PUDDING 
3/4 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 lg. can or qt. or sweetened peaches, plums, or apples
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

Melt the butter and pour into an 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Make a batter of the sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Pour batter over the butter. Do not stir! Pour fruit into batter, being sure NOT to stir! Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
