CORN CAKE OR BREAD 
1 to 1-1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. Add milk, butter, and eggs; mix well. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 400 degrees 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
