DEEP SOUTHERN JAM SANDWICH 
6 lg. pie feet
8 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
2 bay leaves
1 lg. onion
1 lg. green pepper
1 carrot
6 tsp. catsup
6 tsp. Tabasco sauce
6 slices Cheddar cheese
6 c. water
12 slices bread (rye or pumpernickel)

Clean and place pig feet in heavy pot. Add water and cook over medium heat until well done, with vinegar, salt, bay leaves, onion and carrot. Add green pepper the last 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Remove bones from pig feet and drain using paper towel.

Place on plate and add catsup and sauce. Place 1 foot on each slice of bread. Top with 1 slice of cheese for each foot, jam other slice of bread on top and chow!
