FREEZER PEACH JAM | |
2 lb. peaches, peeled and sliced 5 c. sugar 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. "Fruit Fresh" 1 (1 3/4 oz.) box fruit pectin 3/4 c. water Mash peaches. Stir in sugar, lemon juice, salt, and Fruit Fresh. Let stand for 10 minutes. Over medium heat bring fruit pectin and water to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Stir pectin mixture into fruit; stir for 3 minutes - no less! Pour into prepared jars. Let stand for 24 hours at room temperature. Freeze. |
