LEMON MERINGUE PIE | |
3 eggs, separated 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk 6 tbsp. real lemon juice 1/3 c. sugar Beat 3 egg yolks well. Beat in 1 can of Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk. Add 6 tablespoons real lemon juice (or juice of 2 lemons). Beat well. Pour in a baked pastry shell (or graham cracker crust). Beat 3 egg whites until stiff and dry. Add 1/3 cup sugar and beat about 3 minutes. Put meringue on pie and bake until brown. Approximately 8 minutes at 400 degrees. |
