LEMON PIE 
1 1/2 c. of sugar
4 to 6 tbsp. corn starch
3 eggs, separated (use the yolks)
2 c. water
2/3 c. of lemon juice (or real lemon)
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. vinegar

Cook until thick. Cool. Put into pie shell ready made.

MERINGUE:

1 tbsp. corn starch
1/2 c. cold water

Boil until thick, cool.

3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of salt

Beat until stiff, but not dry. Add corn starch and beat. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
