1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar

FOR RAISIN PIE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 box raisins

Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla, vinegar, beaten egg yolks and coconut. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. (Beat until they stand in peaks.) Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake 45 minutes at 275 degrees.
