SUNDAY SKILLET SUPPER | |
3/4 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. water 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1/2 (4 oz.) pkg. med. noodles 1 3/4 c. (1/2 pkg.) mixed vegetables 1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese Cook beef and onion in large skillet until lightly browned. Add salt, water and tomatoes; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Mix in noodles and vegetables. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring often. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 1/2 cups or 4 servings. |
