CHOCOLATE OREO DESSERT 
1 lg. pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick butter
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
8 oz. chocolate syrup
1 c. salted peanuts
12 oz. whipped topping

Crush the large package of Oreos. Combine 3/4 of the cookies with the stick of butter, and press in a 9 x 13 pan. Spread the 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream over the cookies. Pour the 8 ounce of chocolate syrup over the ice cream, and sprinkle the peanuts (no skins) over the top of the syrup. Top with the whipped topping, sprinkle on the rest of the crumbs, and freeze.
