BREAKFAST APPLE BARS 
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. cooking oil
1/4 c. applesauce
3 tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. mixed dried fruit bits
Nonstick spray coating

Spray 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish with non-stick coating. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, oats, baking soda and cinnamon; set aside.

In a small mixing bowl stir together oil, applesauce, honey and vanilla. Stir applesauce mixture into flour mixture. Stir in fruit bits. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool. Cut into bars.
