CINNAMON BREAKFAST APPLES 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 or 5 lg. cooking apples
2 tbsp. water
1/4 c. butter

Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pare apples and chop into bite- size pieces. Put in a 4 cup measure, sprinkling with cinnamon sugar as you add apples. When you have 4 cups, put apples, water and butter into a saucepan. Cover and cook over low to medium heat, stirring once or twice, for 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve for breakfast.
