SKILLET BEEF DINNER 
1/4 c. butter
1 lb. ground round meat
1 clove garlic, minced
Dash of pepper
3 c. water
1 pkg. Lipton's dry onion soup mix
1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
2 c. uncooked med. egg noodles
1 c. light sour cream

Brown meat in butter (use less butter if Silverstone pan). Remove excess fat. Stir in garlic, pepper, water and soup mix. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Add mushrooms and noodles. Cover and cook over moderate heat until noodles are tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat gently. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with green salad.

Serves 4.
