CUSTARD BREAD PUDDING 
stale bread (3 or 4 days old)
1/2 stick melted butter
6 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 qt. sweet milk
2 tbsp. vanilla

Spray a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish with Pam or any pan spray. Line the dish with stale bread and dribble with melted butter over bread. Beat eggs with sugar, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread.

Bake in 325°F oven for approximately 1 hour. Place a pan of water under the pudding in the oven for moisture. When done, sprinkle with sugar over top and broil until bubbly. Serve with Honey Sauce.

Honey Sauce:

1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. milk

Bring to a boil in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
