MICROWAVE HOT APPLE SLAW 
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
6 c. shredded cabbage
1 sm. apple, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. butter

Combine vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and salt in 2 quart glass casserole. Toss with cabbage and apple slices. Dot with butter. Cover with glass lid. Microwave for 4 to 6 minutes on HIGH, or until heated through. Let stand covered 3 minutes. Toss and serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
