APPLE - RAISIN SLAW 
1 c. seedless raisins
1/4 c. California Rose'
3 apples, diced without paring
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 c. raw cabbage, shredded
1 c. mayonnaise

Combine raisins with wine; cover and let stand several hours or overnight. Sprinkle coarsely diced apples with lemon juice and stir well. Mix with raisins and liquid and the shredded cabbage. Add mayonnaise; season to taste. Toss and serve at once. This goes well with ham, roast, pork or turkey. Yield: 6-8 servings.
