BAKED STEAK 
1 (2 lb.) top round steak (2 inches thick)
1 bottle chili sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar, loosely packed
1/2 c. red wine vinegar
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
Ground pepper to taste

Place steak in a deep oven-proof baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour over the steak and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until desired doneness (45 minutes for medium).

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
