PEPPER STEAK (MICROWAVE)
1 lb. boneless steak, cut into thin strips
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Dash ground ginger
2 med. green peppers, cut into chunks
2 med. onions, sliced
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. beef broth

1. In oblong baking dish, heat oil 2 minutes on power level 9, add steak, soy sauce and ginger.

2. Heat 5 to 6 minutes on power level 9, stirring once; season with salt and stir in peppers and onions.

3. Heat, covered 3 to 3 1/2 minutes on high until vegetables are crisp-tender.

4. Stir in cornstarch blended with broth and heat 3 to 3 1/2 minutes on high until sauce is thickened, stirring once.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
