1 lb. butter
4 c. all-purpose flour
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix together in a mixing bowl all ingredients until well mixed. Drop by teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350°F oven until lightly browned on the edges. Remove from oven and cool cookies on wire racks.

Makes 6 to 8 dozen.
