EASY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. shortening
1 box yellow cake mix (no pudding)
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat eggs, vanilla and shortening, about half of the cake mix until light and fluffy. Stir in remaining cake mix, the chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cookies will be soft in centers when done. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
