"BANANA NUT BARS" 
Baking pan: 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches, greased and floured.

3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. mashed ripe bananas (about 4 med.)
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped walnuts

1. Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar.

2. Add the egg and vanilla and blend well.

3. Add the mashed bananas and blend well.

4. Stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and spices. Add to the creamed mixture and blend well.

5. Stir in the chopped nuts.

6. Spread the batter in the pan.
