Use small young beans, too young to string. Wash, snip off end and pack into hot sterile jars very tightly.

Mix:

2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. salt

Bring to boil. Put in each jar:

1 flowerette of fresh dill
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 sm. garlic button
1/2 bay leaf

Fill jars with hot vinegar and salt liquid. Seal. Age 2 months. Good to cut up on sandwiches.
