EGG CUSTARD PIE | |
3 eggs 3 tbsp. flour 3/4 c. sugar 2 c. milk 4 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla (Or a sprinkle of nutmeg or lemon flavoring) Combine eggs, flour and sugar; mix well. Scald together the milk and butter; stir into egg mixture a little at a time. Add vanilla. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes; then lower to 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Don't overbake. Cool well before cutting or it will "weep". |
