SWEET DOUGH FOR ROLLS 
2 c. scalded milk, cooled
2 eggs, beaten
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. shortening
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
9 c. flour (approximately)

Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to cooled milk and beaten eggs and shortening, salt and sugar. Add the flour - enough to make stiff dough. Knead until smooth. Let rise until double. Shape into rolls. Let rise again. Bake on greased baking sheet or in greased muffin tins at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
