FISH CAKES 
2 c. shredded, cooked fish
1 c. mashed potatoes
1 beaten egg
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 chopped onion

Combine and mash all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Salt to taste. Shape into cakes and fry slowly in small amount of hot fat. Good served with tomato or cheese sauce. Serves 6-8.
