SAUSAGE MEAT PIE 
1 lb. bulk sausage
3 med. potatoes, peeled & sliced
2 med. onions, sliced
1 carrot, sliced
1 1/2 c. water
Salt to taste
1 c. biscuit mix
1/4 c. cold water

Cook sausage until browned, stirring to crumble. Drain well on paper towels; return to skillet. Add vegetables, 1 1/2 cups water and salt; cover and simmer 15-20 minutes. Spoon meat mixture and liquid into a 9 inch square baking dish.

Combine biscuit mix and 1/4 cup cold water, stirring with a fork to make a soft dough; beat well 20 strokes. Place dough on a lightly floured surface; roll to a 9 inch square. Place on top of meat mixture; cut slashes in crust to allow steam to escape. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
