CHOCOLATE FINGER COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Hershey's Cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Chocolate Glaze
Chopped nuts (opt.)
Candied cherries

Cream butter and sugar in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; blend well. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture, blending thoroughly. Shape heaping teaspoonfuls of dough into 3"x1" fingers; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, or until set but not hard. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Top with Chocolate Glaze and sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired. Garnish with cherry half.
