SWEDISH FINGER COOKIES 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Cream butter and sugar together. Work in flour, then add extract. Shape into long pencil like rolls. Cut into 2" strips. Dip in beaten egg whites, sprinkle with sugar and crushed nut meats. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes until done and slightly brown.
