HO-HO CAKE | |
1 chocolate cake mix Bake as directed in a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cook and cool: 2/3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Cream for 10 minutes: 1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar Blend well and add cooked mixture. Spread on cooled cake and refrigerate for 1 hour. FROSTING: Melt 1 stick of butter, 3/4 cup cocoa or 3 blocks chocolate. Add 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 1/2 tablespoons hot water, 3 cups powdered sugar. Beat until creamy. |
