BEETS 
6 young beets
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. chopped onions
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. water
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. vinegar

Wash and cook beets. Drain and remove skins. Cut beets into slices or cubes.

In a small pan melt butter. Add finely chopped onions and cook slightly. Add cornstarch, salt, pepper and water. Stir until thick and well cooked. Add honey and vinegar and pour over beets. Serve at once.
