PORK CHOPS WITH APPLES 
2 lbs. apples, peeled and sliced thin
1 tbsp. butter
Salt
4 pork loin chops, thick
1/4 c. dry white wine
1 c. heavy cream
1/3 c. Dijon mustard

Spread the apples in buttered casserole and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Brown salted chops in butter over medium heat 7-8 minutes each side. Place chops on apples in casserole. Deglaze pan with wine, reduce and drizzle over chops.

Mix cream and mustard, salt and pepper lightly, pour over chops. Shake pan to settle cream to base of apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
