SHERRY APPLE PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops (1 inch thick)
2 tbsp. butter
2 lg. apples, peeled and diced
1 lg. onion, chopped
3/4 c. sherry (dry)
1/2 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. each brown sugar and soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

In large skillet, brown chops in butter. Drain excess fat. Cover chops with apples and onion. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until done.
