MEREDITH'S BEST PASTA SALAD | |
1 1/2 (16 oz. ea.) pkgs. rotini spiral pasta (Barilla) 2 carrots, grated 1 onion, diced fine 1 large green pepper, diced fine 1 cup vinegar 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 cups mayonnaise (Hellmann's or Best Foods) 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk salt, to taste your choice cooked meat (cubed boneless ham is best) Cook pasta, drain and add all other ingredients. Refrigerate, covered with Saran or plastic wrap, for 24 hours before serving. Note: Use a big bowl, it makes a lot! Submitted by: John Johnson |
