CHEESY POTATOES | |
8 or 9 lg. potatoes, peeled, sliced and cooked until tender Drain. 6 tbsp. butter 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. parsley 2 1/2 c. milk, warm 3 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. grated onion 1 (8 oz.) Cheez Whiz 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese Melt butter, add flour, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add milk, stirring constantly. Cook until thick. Add onion and parsley. Remove from heat. Add Cheez Whiz and 1/2 cup grated cheese. Put 1/2 potatoes in 14 x 11 1/2 inch greased casserole. Top with 1/2 sauce. Repeat and top with remainder of grated cheese. Bake uncovered in 450 degree oven, 15-20 minutes. |
