OATMEAL CARAMEL BARS 
14 oz. pkg. caramels
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

CRUMB MIXTURE:

2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, melted

Melt 14 oz. package caramels, mix in 1/2 cup milk, cool slightly. Mix remaining ingredients for crumb mixture. Put 1/2 crumbs on bottom of greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Put 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped nuts over baked crumbs. Pour caramel mixture over top then add the rest of crumbs to the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
