SCRUMPTIOUS CARAMEL BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. melted butter
1 pkg. caramels
6 tbsp. cream
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Mix flour, sugar, salt, oatmeal, baking soda and butter together and press on bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. (Save 2/3 cup of mixture for topping.) Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt candies and cream together. Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked batter then pour caramel mixture over chips. Sprinkle remaining oatmeal topping. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees until done. Cool, then refrigerate.
