SALAD DRESSING 
3/4 c. olive oil
3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
6 tbsp. tomato catsup
24 capers
1 tbsp. white Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, halved
1 heaping tsp. sugar
2 sprigs basil, minced
6 cloves
Salt and black pepper

Mix together all ingredients, beat well and let stand overnight. Next morning, remove garlic cloves, so not to become too strong. Yield 1/2 pint. Use dressing on salad greens, cucumbers, onions, radishes, sliced eggs, and chopped celery; with chives, raw cauliflower and broccoli; or onion rings, steamed artichokes. Very versatile!
