BAKED CARROTS 
4 c. coarsely grated carrots
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. butter

Place carrots in buttered 4-cup casserole. Season with sugar, salt and pepper. Dot with butter. Cover. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) 30 minutes or until tender.
