APACHE BREAD
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Scant of milk

Sift and mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add enough milk to make the dough soft and pliable. Place dough on a floured surface. Knead a few times. Roll with rolling pin and cut into squares or rounds as in biscuits. Fry in hot oil about an inch deep (maybe 2 inches deep) until brown on both sides. Take from frying pan and drain. Serve with butter and Grandpa's honey.
