SWEET-SOUR SPARERIBS 
2 lbs. pork spareribs
1 tbsp. salad oil

Cut spareribs in one rib pieces and place in large skillet. Cover with hot water; bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes. Drain and dry thoroughly. Heat oil in skillet and add ribs. Turn to brown thoroughly.

1 sm. piece ginger
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. water

Peel ginger root and chop fine. Place in large bowl with garlic. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until smooth. Pour over ribs in skillet and simmer 20 minutes. Serve hot.
